That is what a journal like this costs elsewhere. Here you pay nothing, and there is no card to enter.

  • Every trade rebuilt from the file your platform exports
  • The calendar — day by day, month totalled after costs
  • Win rate, profit factor, expectancy, drawdown, streaks
  • R multiples from one risk-per-trade setting — no typing per trade
  • Compounding accounts — the only journal that does
  • Ignore a trade and every figure shows the what-if
  • Mentor mode — hand one person a key, or nobody
  • Export the lot as CSV, or delete it all, whenever

Exporting from NinjaTrader

How to export your NinjaTrader history.

The same steps the journal shows when you add a NinjaTrader account. About a minute, and you only do it once per file.

STEP 01

In NinjaTrader's Control Center, open New → Trade Performance.

STEP 02

Pick your account and set the date range to cover the days you traded, then click Generate.

STEP 03

Open the Trades tab — not Summary, not Executions.

STEP 04

Right-click the grid and choose Export, save it as CSV, and drop the file here.

What you get

Your NinjaTrader trading, worked out.

The journal reads the file NinjaTrader exports — every fill, every scale-in, every stop that moved — and rebuilds your trades exactly as they happened. Upload the same file twice and nothing double-counts.

The calendar fills in day by day, the month is totalled after costs, and the stats — win rate, profit factor, expectancy, drawdown, streaks, R multiples — work themselves out. You never type a number.

Questions

What NinjaTrader traders ask.

Is it really free?

Yes. No card, no trial, no limit on trades. The journal is free because Trade 13/48 sells a trading system, not a journal — the journal is how we show our numbers are right.

Where is the NinjaTrader export?

In the Control Center open New → Trade Performance, pick your account and date range, click Generate, open the Trades tab, then right-click the grid and Export to CSV.

Does it include my commissions?

Yes. NinjaTrader writes the commission and fees on every trade, and the journal takes them straight from the file, so your figures are after costs without setting a rate.

Does it read my account statement?

No, and please don't upload one. The journal reads your order or trade history — the table of fills — never a statement. A statement carries your account number and balances, and the journal refuses it rather than store it.

What if the file can't be read?

The journal keeps it and tells you plainly, rather than showing wrong numbers. When the format can be read, your trades import on their own and you get an email.

Trade elsewhere too? The journal also reads Tradovate, TopstepX and ProjectX, AMP Futures, TradeStation, Webull, Interactive Brokers and TradingView paper trading. About the journal →
