Your privacy matters
Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to https://www.trade1348.com, and The Crossover Group LLC and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to The Crossover Group LLC include https://www.trade1348.com, its other trade1348.com addresses and https://journal1348.com. The Crossover Group LLC website sells trading tools and education, and runs the member journal, Community Chat and the Live Trading Room. By using The Crossover Group LLC website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
01
Collection of your Personal Information
In order to better provide you with products and services offered, The Crossover Group LLC may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:
- First and Last Name
- E-mail Address
- Your Whop account name and identifier, and your TradingView username, so that we can give you access to what you bought
Purchases are processed by Whop, which is the merchant of record for every product sold through this site. Whop collects and holds the billing and payment card information needed to complete the transaction. The Crossover Group LLC never receives or stores your card number. What we receive from Whop is a record of the purchase itself: what was bought, when, the amount, and the account it belongs to.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through The Crossover Group LLC's public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.
Some information is collected automatically when you visit, as described under Automatically Collected Information and Analytics and Your Choices below. Other personal information is collected when you provide it to us, for example when you: (a) register for an account; (b) send us an email message; (c) complete a purchase, which is handled by Whop as merchant of record rather than by us; (d) import trades into the member journal; (e) post in Community Chat. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
02
Use of your Personal Information
The Crossover Group LLC collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested.
The Crossover Group LLC may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from The Crossover Group LLC and its affiliates.
03
Sharing Information with Third Parties
The Crossover Group LLC does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.
The Crossover Group LLC may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email, or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to The Crossover Group LLC, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
The Crossover Group LLC also shares information with the companies that measure our website and our advertising (Google, Meta, Reddit and Whop), on the terms and with the choices described under Analytics and Your Choices below.
The Crossover Group LLC may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on The Crossover Group LLC or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of The Crossover Group LLC; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of The Crossover Group LLC, or the public.
04
Tracking User Behavior
The Crossover Group LLC may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within The Crossover Group LLC's services, in order to determine what services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
05
Automatically Collected Information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by The Crossover Group LLC. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of The Crossover Group LLC website.
06
Use of Cookies
The Crossover Group LLC website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize The Crossover Group LLC pages, or register with The Crossover Group LLC site or services, a cookie helps The Crossover Group LLC to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. When you return to the same The Crossover Group LLC website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use The Crossover Group LLC features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of The Crossover Group LLC services or websites you visit.
07
Analytics and Your Choices
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website, so that we can improve signup, navigation, and member access. Google Analytics records information such as the pages you view, the website or advertisement that referred you, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and a randomly generated identifier stored on your device.
We do not send your name, email address, Discord username, TradingView username, or payment details to Google. Purchases are reported to Google Analytics so that we can measure sales; where you have not consented to analytics, that report is sent without any identifier that would connect the purchase to you or to your visit.
We also use the Whop pixel, provided by Whop, the merchant of record for our purchases. It records the pages you view on this website, the steps you take towards joining (such as entering your email in a sign-up form, completing a free sign-up, opening a checkout, or opening the support chat) and an identifier stored on your device, so that Whop can connect a visit to the purchase or sign-up it leads to and tell us which pages and advertisements bring us customers. We also send the pixel the email address you enter in a sign-up form on this website and, when you are signed in, the email address and account identifier of your Whop account, so that Whop can match the steps you take here to your account and to the purchase or sign-up they lead to. The pixel is placed only where you have consented to analytics, on the same terms and with the same choices described here.
We also use the Reddit pixel, provided by Reddit, so that we can tell which of our Reddit advertisements bring people to this website and which of those visits lead to a signup. It records the pages you view on this website and an identifier stored on your device. We do not send your name to Reddit.
We also use the Meta pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, so that we can tell which of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram bring people to this website and which of those visits lead to a signup or a checkout. It records the pages you view on this website, the steps you take towards joining (such as completing a free sign-up, opening a checkout, or opening the support chat), which buttons you press, and an identifier stored on your device. Our code does not give the pixel your name or email address. Meta's pixel may itself collect, in a scrambled form called a hash, which cannot be read back as an address, an email address or telephone number that you type into a form on this website, so that Meta can recognise you if you have a Facebook or Instagram account. The pixel is placed only where you have consented to analytics, on the same terms and with the same choices described here. When you complete a free signup or make a purchase, our server also tells Meta that it happened, and for a purchase what it was worth, so that we can tell which advertisements bring us members and customers. With that we send your email address in the same scrambled form, the identifiers the Meta pixel stored on your device, and your browser type; we do not send your name. Nothing is sent to Meta about a signup or a purchase unless you have consented to analytics.
Some training lessons on this website play a video hosted on YouTube, which is provided by Google. The video is embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube sets no cookies until you press play. When you play one, YouTube receives your IP address, your device and browser type, and the video you watched, and may set cookies of its own; if you are signed in to a Google account in your browser, YouTube may connect the viewing to that account. We do not send your name, email address, or account details to YouTube.
When a member shares a YouTube video in Community Chat, the video's preview picture is loaded from YouTube's own servers, so YouTube receives your IP address and your device and browser type when that picture is shown to you; nothing else is sent to YouTube until you press play. Pressing play loads YouTube's video player in the same privacy-enhanced mode, and what YouTube collects from then on is as described above and is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.
When you complete a signup or a purchase, our server also tells Reddit that it happened, so that we can tell which advertisements bring us members rather than only visits. With that we send your email address in a scrambled form, called a hash, which cannot be read back as an address; Reddit uses it to recognise you if you already have a Reddit account, so that a signup you complete on one device can be matched to an advertisement you clicked on another. We do not send it in readable form. Reddit's pixel may also collect, in the same scrambled form, an email address or telephone number that is shown on a page while you are signed in or that you type into a form on this website; this happens only if you have consented to analytics. Nothing is sent to Reddit about a signup or a purchase unless you have consented to analytics, on the same terms and with the same choices described here.
We also use the GIF picker inside Community Chat, provided by KLIPY. Nothing is sent to KLIPY until you open the picker yourself. From the moment you do, your browser talks to KLIPY directly, so KLIPY receives your IP address, your device and browser type, the words you type into the GIF search box, which GIFs you are shown and which one you send. Alongside those requests we send a scrambled identifier that stands in for your account: it is a one-way scramble, it stays the same for you so that KLIPY can keep your results sensible, and it cannot be read back as your Whop account or your email address. When you or another member views a GIF that has already been sent in a message, your browser loads the picture directly from KLIPY's own servers, which see the same sort of thing any website you visit can see about a visitor. We do not send your name, email address, or payment details to KLIPY.
Videos you post in Community Chat are stored and played through Mux, a video service we use for that purpose. When you add a video, your browser sends it straight to Mux, which keeps it, prepares it for playback on any device and makes a still picture of it. When you or another member watches a video, your browser loads it and its still picture from Mux's servers, which see your IP address and your device and browser type, in the same way any website you visit can see that much about a visitor. A video posted in a private message, a group or a whisper can be played only with a short-lived permission our website gives to the people who can see that message. Where you have consented to analytics, the video player also tells Mux how the video played for you, such as when playback started, paused or stalled and the quality you received, so that we can see how videos in chat are performing; where you have not consented, it sends nothing of the kind. A video is deleted from Mux on the same schedule as the message it was posted with, or sooner if you or a member of our staff removes it. We do not send your name, email address, or payment details to Mux.
We also offer notifications from Community Chat, which are off until you turn them on yourself on a particular device. They tell you when someone mentions you, when there is a new announcement you can see, when you receive a private message or a friend request, or when Gabe goes live on YouTube or in the Live Trading Room, or is about to start a scheduled stream there (whether or not your plan includes that stream); each of those can be switched off on its own in chat settings. You can also turn on notifications for new alerts on the Alerts page, for each timeframe you choose; they reach your device in the same way, tell you which symbols have a new alert and never carry prices or trade levels, and are switched off there. If you choose to have a tap open the TradingView chart, that opens TradingView's own website, which is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours. A notification reaches your device through the company that makes your browser or phone: Apple, Google, Mozilla, or Microsoft, depending on the device. That company receives an address for your device and a message that is encrypted so that only your device can read it; it cannot read what the notification says, and we do not send it your name, email address, or payment details. We store that device address, and a short name for the device such as its browser and type, until you turn notifications off on that device, remove it from your list of devices in chat settings, sign out on it, or it stops accepting notifications, at which point we delete it. We also keep a record that a notification about a particular message was sent to you, so that we never notify you twice about the same message; that record is deleted shortly after the message itself is.
Messages you send in Community Chat, and any photos and files you attach to them, are stored on our servers so that the people they were sent to can read them (videos are kept by Mux, as described above), and are deleted twelve months after they were sent, or sooner if you or a member of our staff removes them. A private message or group can be read only by the people in it; our staff cannot open it. A whisper, which is a message in a public chat room that is shown only to the person who sent it and the one member it is addressed to, can also be read by our staff, and so can any reply to it; this includes an offer our staff show a member in a public room. We keep a record of when a member of our staff turns on the view that shows them whispers. If a member of a conversation reports a message to us, a copy of that message and up to ten before it, including any photos and files, is placed in front of our staff so that they can decide what to do about it, and they can remove the reported message from the conversation. We keep the words of that copy as our record of the report; a photo, video or file in it is kept only until the report has been dealt with, and is then deleted on the ordinary schedule. When a message posted by a member of our staff appears on your screen, including in a private message or group they are in, we record that you have viewed it, so that our staff can see how many members have viewed the messages they post. They see only a count, never who viewed it, and the record is deleted when the message is.
Records of moderation reports and decisions, the Community Chat member list, and backups of our databases are kept until we remove them; there is no fixed period.
We also use the merch store on this website, which is run by Fourthwall. When you open the store, your browser loads the product photographs directly from Fourthwall's own servers, which then see your IP address, your device and browser type, and which pictures were requested, in the same way any website you visit can see that much about a visitor. When you check out, you are taken to Fourthwall's own website, where you give them your payment details and your delivery address; your order, your payment and your delivery are handled by Fourthwall and are governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We do not send your name, email address, or payment details to Fourthwall.
The Alerts page shows news about the symbol of an alert, supplied by TradingView. Nothing is sent to TradingView until you open the news for an alert yourself. From the moment you do, your browser loads TradingView's news panel directly, so TradingView receives your IP address, your device and browser type, the web address of the page you are on and the symbol you asked about, and may set cookies of its own, including analytics cookies; if you are signed in to TradingView in your browser, it may connect the visit to that account. Closing the panel removes it. What TradingView collects is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours. We do not send your name, email address, or payment details to TradingView.
The Live Trading Room's video is delivered by Amazon Interactive Video Service (Amazon IVS), part of Amazon Web Services. When you watch a stream or a replay, your browser loads the video from Amazon's servers, which see your IP address and your device and browser type, in the same way any website you visit can see that much about a visitor. To let you into a stream, we also give Amazon the identifier of your Whop account. We do not send your name, email address, or payment details to Amazon. Streams are recorded so that members can watch them again as replays. We keep a record of which members watched which stream, and of how far you have watched a replay so that you can carry on where you left off. Stream recordings, replays and the record of who watched which stream are kept until we remove them; there is no fixed period.
The member journal stores the trades, accounts, balances, notes and files you import or enter, on our servers, so that you can review your own trading. You can share your journal with a mentor you invite: that person sees the accounts you choose to share, and can change anything only if you allow it. You can stop sharing, or remove a mentor, at any time from your journal. You can also turn on "Full journal (read-only)" for the accounts you choose: any signed-in member can then read those accounts in your journal without an invitation, but cannot change anything. It is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.
We never send the contents of your trading journal to any of them. Your trades, your positions, your balances, your account names, your notes and the figures calculated from them stay in your journal. What these tools are told about is the page you are on, in the same way as any other page of this website.
The one exception is an AI assistant you connect yourself. The journal lets you connect an AI service of your choosing, such as Claude or ChatGPT, so that you can ask it questions about your own trading. When you do, and only while it stays connected, that service receives the parts of your journal it asks about on your behalf: your trades, the figures calculated from them, your notes, and your account names and balances. It never receives your email address or payment details, and it cannot change anything in your journal. What that service does with the information is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours. You choose to connect it, you can see which services are connected in your journal settings, and you can disconnect any of them at any time, which stops all access straight away.
On your profile in Community Chat, other members see a summary of your journal results, which is your win rate, your average win against your average loss as a ratio, your average hold time and your profit factor, unless you turn that off in your journal settings. No amount of money you have made or lost is shown to them.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we ask for your permission before any analytics cookie or identifier is placed on your device, and we place none unless you agree. Elsewhere, analytics run by default and this notice serves as your notification, in line with local practice.
You can opt out at any time. If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an instruction to disable analytics and we honour it automatically. You may also decline analytics cookies in your browser settings, or contact us at support@trade1348.com to request that we stop processing your analytics data.
